Wayfinding
As construction continues on the exterior of the National Park Service Interpretive Center along the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail, visitors may notice temporary changes to the surrounding area. Exterior work is expected to continue through early 2028.
To help visitors navigate downtown Selma during this time, the Selma Redevelopment Authority has partnered with the construction team to install four temporary wayfinding signs. These signs are strategically placed to guide pedestrians and motorists traveling from the Edmund Pettus Bridge and along Water Avenue toward key destinations.
We appreciate your patience as this important project moves forward and hope these signs make it easier to explore all that downtown Selma has to offer.
